Get To Know You is designed to work without accounts. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use the site, why it is used, and what choices you have.

Information stored in your browser

Favorites, quiz results, saved games, daily activity, and some preferences may be stored in your browser using local storage. This information is used to make the site work for you and is not automatically sent to us. You can remove it by clearing this site's stored data in your browser.

Votes and reactions

When you vote in a public game, the game identifier and your selected option may be sent to our server so aggregate results can be shown to other players. We do not need your name or an account to record an aggregate vote. Local vote state may also be stored in your browser so you can see your own choice.

Canvas

Canvas placements are shared artwork. A selected color and pixel coordinate are sent to the Canvas service when you place a pixel, and the resulting board is visible to other visitors. Do not place private information, personal identifiers, or anything you would not want publicly displayed.

Live rooms

Two Player rooms use a temporary relay to synchronize room codes, display names, answers, and game state between participants. Room data is unlisted rather than private: anyone with the room link may be able to join or see information shared in that room. Rooms are intended to expire, but you should still avoid sensitive information.

Analytics, logs, and technical data

We may use privacy-respecting analytics and ordinary server logs to understand which pages work, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable. Technical information can include an IP address, browser type, device information, requested URL, and timestamps. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.

Cookies and third parties

The site may use essential browser storage and similar technologies for features such as favorites and sessions. Pages may load fonts, hosting resources, or other assets from third-party providers. Those providers may receive the technical information required to deliver the asset under their own policies. We do not sell personal information.

Children and sensitive information

The site is not intended to collect personal information from children. Do not submit health, financial, account, location, contact, or other sensitive information in questions, rooms, votes, Canvas artwork, or messages.

Retention and deletion

Browser data can be deleted by clearing site data. Temporary room information is intended to expire. Public votes and Canvas changes may remain as part of aggregate results or the shared board. If you believe personal information was submitted or displayed unintentionally, contact us and include the relevant page or room details.
